A section of the A287 is currently closed for utilities works and will be closed for about 3 weeks. This includes the weekend of our next open shoot and so for many of you, an alternative route will need to be used. The section closed is near Bourne and so anyone travelling south from Farnham will be affected.
I know that many of our members who live close to the club will have better routes than I, but the following is suggested:
Starting from the large roundabout at the junction of the A31 and the A325.
1. Go down the A325 signposted to Petersfield.
2. After about 0.5 mile, continue on the A325 by bearing Right at the mini roundabout.
3. Pass “Birdworld” on the Right after about 1.3 mile.
4. Go through “Bucks Horn Oak” and turn Left after about 1 mile signed to “Alice Holt Forest” and Frensham
5. After another mile, turn Left on “The Street” signed to Frensham.
6. After another 1.2 miles, turn Right onto “Mill Lane” signed to “Frensham Church”
7. Soon after passing the church (on the Left) you will reach a small triangular shaped village green. Turn right onto the A287.
8. Turn immediately right again (signed to “Frensham Pond Hotel”)
9. You are now back on the normal route.
